Pectolit
The solution for preventing and combating digestive problems.
Characteristics
- 100 % vegetable (apart from electrolytes, vitamins and trace elements), PECTOLIT contains no antibiotics. No prescriptions needed. Presents no danger, even in case of overdose, and it can be given from the first days after birth.
- Rapidly effective: the effects of PECTOLIT are visible after several hours. The product is good for the epithelial cells, it also rehydrates and calms.
- Rehydrating and Nourishing: far more than other market competitors, PECTOLIT nourishes animals as a real feed: it contains sugars, proteins (11.5%) and even easily assimilated fats (6%). Farmers using the product have observed that the animal does not lose weight during the administration of PECTOLIT.
- Gut flora stabilizers: PECTOLIT contains Gut flora stabilizers (Enterococcus Faecium), known for their positive effect on health and performance of young ruminants.
- Appetizing : PECTOLIT is extremely appetizing: even a sick animal manages to drink it easily.
- Soluble : PECTOLIT dissolves perfectly in both water (curative) and milk (preventive) at 40°C.
- Protective: used in small doses as a preventive measure, PECTOLIT is an excellent means of protection thanks to its role as a ‘band-aid’. The prebiotics it contains, such as linseed and chicory inulin, improve the protective properties of intestinal mucus.
- Booster : used by Vets with "slow-starter" calves or which do not drink enough. PECTOLIT contains ingredients which aid digestion, and the vitamins and trace elements encourage the metabolism and immune system.
- Ideal for smooth passage from colostrum to milk or milk powder: one or two pure meals lead to the rehydration of the animal and ensures good digestion of milk. Or 25g per feeding during a few days.
- Ensures the right start foor new batches of calves: to start herds of calves coming from different farms, (first meal with PECTOLIT only, then mixed into the milk for several days). The animals are less stressed and have a "good coat", according to farmers.
- Nursing lambs: PECTOLIT can be administered at a higher concentration with a drug gun if the animal continues to suckle its mother. No danger.
- Economic and practical: sealed in an air-tight container of 3kg with a cup of 100g, it is easy to use. If well sealed after use, it should easily last for 18 months. Cheaper than its competitors, it has unbeatable return on investment.

How to use
In the events of digestive problems
Preferably stop the milk and give 2 to 3 meals a day consisting of a full 100g scoop in 2 litres of water at 40°C. Continue as long as the calf is suffering from digestive problems.
When the faeces are normal, make a transition: 1 or 2 mouthfuls of ½ dosette (50g) in 2 litres of milk.
As a preventive measure
Add PECTOLIT to colostrum, whole milk or milk powder at a rate of 25g per mouthful (¼ scoop) from the 2nd colostrum and for 1 to 3 weeks. The same adive applies to dietary transitions and/or high-risk periods.
For distribution with a DAL, add 1.5 to 3kg of PECTOLIT for 25kg of milk powder.
PECTOLIT can be given in a more concentrated form using a squirt gun if the calf continues to suckle its mother: one 100g dose in 250 to 500ml of water.
As a preventive measure
50g once a day.
To secure the start :
- 1 or 2 mouthfuls of PECTOLIT alone on arrival
- then 25g mixed with milk twice a day for a week.
In the events of digestive problems
Feed PECTOLIT as much as you like (50g/liter), up to a maximum of 100g per day.
As a preventive measure
By teat feeder : 2g/day per animal during the suckling period, improves growth and stimulates natural defences.
